finished reading most of ned's blog last night, even woke up early this morning, must have been the hour snooze i had in the afternoon. today was more testing for the start of the season, today we had to do leg presses until our legs failed, or a minute was up, whichever came first. no mean feat when the weight was 60% of our 3RM (rep max) from the previous days testing.

walked afterwards to try to make the pain fade, but it didn't help. later at cop (canada olympic park) for mountain bike racing volunteer work, after i started to watch 'the great lebowski' on dvd, never seen it.

tomorrow i'm working again, woo hoo. then hopefully will see signe in the evening. final post altitude study blood sample friday morning followed by weight training, then a 3 hour bus ride to lethbridge to meet up with james to house-sit his parents place for two weeks. those are the plans at least.

so who's signe then...
just started ned's blog, and it's 1218am, getting tired....zzzzzzz. al's is now fully read, and i'm listening to frente, think i will sleep.

sleep is good...

okay, i've started blogging and can't stop again, i think this is good.

i am constantly amazed at the number of aussies i am seeing in u.s. shows and films these days. maybe it's just that i don't see much australian tv here? in the last week i've seen anthony lapaglia in frasier (talked about australia's fav son in 'braveheart' in the episode i saw), heath ledger in 'a knights tale' (one of the character talks about going to see a man about a dog, heath's addition to the script?), peta wilson in la femme nikita (nothing to say about her) and guy pearce in 'memento', which i finally saw last tuesday (good film, make sure you are awake when you see it though, it's a tough plot to follow).

i also watched 'the castle' in the last week, but funnily enough it's full of aussies :-p i am happy to say that my canadian friends can understand almost all of the film, except of course the car moving scene (torana, cortina, camira etc)
on the subject of sara gilbert, we watched 'high fidelity' again this time on video at james'. the first time i saw it, it was a rather unique experience. i watched it at a bioscope in groningen in the netherlands, by myself, with dutch subtitles. the other strange part was that the cinema was licensed (sp) and had an interval halfway through the film. so we all went out and got drinks during intermission. surreal experience, great movie. by the way, sara gilbert is in the film, and plays darlene in roseanne.

not all u.s. sitcoms are crappy, just most of them...perhaps i will do a high five tv programs, or even high five sitcoms, or or or, the possibilities are endless ;-)
watching the season opener from the season that just finished, of frasier, niles & daphne have just got together...i have not enjoyed a long running storyline in a sitcom so much since some of the roseanne episodes with darlene and david in...

good news, i'm at june 2 on mark's weblog...
just to whet the appetite, there's news of training, a little work, chocolate and some lessons in life in general...but you'll have to wait a little longer to read it.
can i make a triumphant return after a 12 day break?

much news, much is happening with me, hence the extreme silence....

will be back after i read the blogs of others, it'll only be an hour or so, although frasier is on in 38 mins, so there may be an intermission in the reading.....ok, ok i'm gone, back soon.
