sitting in a plane, watching 'the matrix'...still makes me giggle to see sydney sights appearing in a flick like this...canoe reeves never quite strikes me as believable in some films, is this just due to my mind jumping back to 'bill & ted's excellent adventure'?
sipping on a 'molson canadian' beer, for my aussie friends, this is almost the vb of canadian beers...the one you can only buy in canada, the one they keep to themselves...meanwhile they ship the 'moosehead' and 'molson export'...not quite the 'fosters' of canada, but not the best nor most popular...got a desire to have a hahn premium when i get back to aus...but for now i'm off to lunch with gita in london, then 6 days in rotterdam (the ned)
reminds me of four'n'twenty pies from the late 80s, or perhaps early 90s...they sold an export meat pie...and man was it good, big chunks of steak, tasty gravy...was hard to imagine these were mass produced, and not from your local bakery :-)
had a bad experience checking in today...was made to pay $175 cdn for my excess baggage...i only had three bags ;-) one was 78lbs, one 64lbs, the last 54lbs...tried every trick i knew...still no good, it's only the 2nd time i've been charged, but i think i am over every time i fly...picked a bad check-in desk i guess...feels like my text is getting boring, will leave until i think of something more stimulating!
why is that air canada's flight attendants are not to the same standard as other airlines...
