here i sit at 0428 on april 5...yes, it's rather early or late, whichever you prefer. the oval here in calgary is holding a pool tournament over the next few weeks, and i have the pleasure of supervising these rowdy tables over night, while there is not a soul in the place. truly, go check the webcam.

so the news here is that i am now knocking back jobs...i'm flippin' burgers for the clown again, working shifts at the oval when there's big events on, and today i said no to a telemarketing job at the big telco here in alberta (not sure if it was the right thing or not). was not really into doing outbound calling when i worked at T in melbourne, so thought it better to say no, and if they offer inbound work, reconsider then. guess time will tell. i am also getting back into volunteering over here, not what you'd expect tho'. rather than getting into a lot of sporting events, i am doing some stuff for a tech expo that's coming up later this month. good networking opportunities, perhaps...or just a change from standing outside playing the part of an official at a luge world cup, or a ski jump distance judge...ahh, it's a varied life here in calgary.

it's getting tough on the eyes at this time of the morning...at least my ears are soothed by the cool tunes on my fav swedish radio station p3star.
