ever 'googled' your name? it appears that i have a common one...another fact appears to have come to light, my website needs a big publicity boost! (or perhaps just some keywords added to raise its profile in search engine results) just got an e-mail from a friend who had caught up on my latest news via my site (as latest as the news that is on my site of course!) and told me to seacrh on their name to find out their news. i blame this on their less popular (read 'common') name, but i found a site with their info in result 11 on a google search, whereas i had to go result 256 to find a page that mentioned the REAL mark eaton, and this was a site that mentioned me as coach/team manager of the nz short track team...something i did temporarily for 2 weeks last year (in russia & italy, very cool, but stories for another time) the first result that directly related to me is some skating results from heerenveen (ned) in result 268.
so if you are bored, google my name, and learn all about basketball, hockey and even tennis players with the same cool name as mine. or is it just the person, and the name is irrelevant???
anyways...stuff to do, look at, read and try to learn. more soon
